Do I need to confirm my booking?
Yes. Once we agree a date, time, and price, I’ll send a confirmation by email, WhatsApp, or SMS. Your appointment is only confirmed once you reply CONFIRM.
How far in advance do I need to book?
I aim to offer same-day or next-day appointments where availability allows. During busy periods, booking ahead helps secure your preferred time slot.
What if I don’t use email or WhatsApp?
No problem — I can send booking and confirmation details by SMS text message.
Can I change my appointment time?
Yes. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule.
💳 Pricing, Payment & Deposits
How much does a typical repair cost?
Most toilet repairs are typically £80–£250, depending on the fault and parts required. I’ll give you a clear price before booking wherever possible.
How do I pay?
Payment is taken on completion by card or contactless. I don’t offer invoicing or deferred payment for repair jobs.
Do you take deposits?
For most standard repairs, no deposit is required. If parts need to be ordered specifically for your job, or for larger repairs, I may request a materials or booking deposit. Any deposit is deducted from the final balance, which is paid on completion.
Will I get a receipt?
Yes. You can receive a text or email receipt immediately after payment.
⏱️ Cancellations & Call-Outs
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or change an appointment.
What happens if I’m not home when you arrive?
If I attend at the agreed time and can’t gain access, a £40 call-out fee may apply. This covers travel and the reserved time slot.
What if I’m running late?
Please let me know as soon as possible. I’ll always try to accommodate where my schedule allows.
🔧 Repairs & Work Scope
Do you offer fixed prices?
For many common toilet faults, I can offer a fixed price in advance. If the issue turns out to be different on arrival, I’ll explain any changes before proceeding.
What if extra parts or work are needed?
I’ll always discuss this with you and confirm any price change before continuing.
Do you guarantee your work?
Yes. I provide a 12-month workmanship guarantee on all repairs.
Any parts supplied are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, which varies by brand and product. I primarily use recognised, branded components rather than unbranded parts.
Please note that factors outside my control — such as hard water, scale build-up, water pressure issues, or general wear and tear — can affect the lifespan of parts over time. These are not considered faults in workmanship.
If you experience a problem related to the work carried out within 12 months, just get in touch and I’ll be happy to take a look.
